- Gate entry is free to the public
- Open to Bastrop & surrounding counties
- Books open 6:00pm, close 7:00pm. Rope 7:30pm.
- #11.5 handicap (One sec down)/Enter 1 draw 2 for $150.

WEDNESDAY, July 29
- 7:30pm 4D Jackpot Barrel Racing at Rodeo Arena

- 80% payout. $45 entry fee. $5 office fee per horse. $5 exhibitions.
- Exhibition 5pm-7pm
- Racing starts at 7:30pm

THURSDAY, JULY 30
- 7:30pm Diamond Cross Rodeo – Slack at Rodeo Arena – Rodeo Details
- Gate opens at 6:00pm; gate entry is $10
- “Competition before the competition” – top times move to main event
- Timed events: barrel racing, steer wrestling, team roping, break away roping and tie-down roping
- Beer and concession stands inside arena will be open – wristbands required
- Food and Merchandise vendors are onsite Thursday-Saturday from 6:00pm to close
FRIDAY, JULY 31
- 7:30pm Diamond Cross Rodeo – Full Rodeo at the Rodeo Arena – Rodeo Details
- Gate opens at 6:00pm; $15 gate entry includes Rodeo and Dance
- Timed events include: bareback riding, saddle bronc riding, steer wrestling, team roping, break away roping and tie-down roping, barrel racing, and bull riding
- Mutton Bustin’ and Calf Scramble – prizes awarded to 1st place only
- Calf Scramble – $0 to enter – unlimited number of kids – no sign up required
- Mutton Bustin – $30 first come basis – 10 riders only – sign up at Diamond Cross Rodeo merchandise booth inside arena at 6:00pm – more availability Saturday night
- Beer and concession stands inside arena will be open – wristbands required
- Food and Merchandise vendors are onsite Thursday-Saturday from 6:00pm to close
SATURDAY, AUGUST 1
- 6:45pm Mutton Bustin’ Pre Show Event – NEW!
- Gate opens at 6:00pm; $15 gate entry includes Rodeo and Dance
- $30 first come basis – sign up at Diamond Cross Rodeo merchandise booth inside arena at 6:00pm – first 10 riders go to main event
- Max of 50 riders can participate in the pre show event – participation ribbons will be awarded

Mutton Bustin’ Rules:
Child must be between the ages of 4-8 years old, and weigh 55lbs. or less the day of the event. A scale will be used to verify / Protective vest and helmet, provided at event, must be worn to participate. Ropes and spurs will not be permitted. NO EXCEPTIONS / Sheep will be chute run. WE ARE NOT DRAWING NUMBERS / Only ONE helper PER CONTESTANT will be allowed in chute area / Excessive refusal of participant to get on/ride the animal in a timely manner will result in the rodeo contractor’s discretion to turn out the animal. NO REFUNDS OR RE-RUNS / Fee is $30.00 per run.
